Vision for 2024

I think i’ve mentioned it before on a blog post, but i’m not really a big believer in New Year Resolutions. The bitterly cold days, endless dark nights…they don’t inspire me to start something new, especially if it’s a diet! No, my New Years Resolutions have always fallen by the wayside by about mid February, leading to feelings of disappointment and frustration. Instead, some years ago I started setting new intentions in line with the start of spring; after all, that time of year is all about new beginnings. I feel much more enthusiastic to start something new or stop something old at that time of year.

That said, this year, I have some visions for 2024.

I am a big believer in mindset, and, although it does take a huge amount of continuous work, I truly believe that a positive mindset can achieve just about anything. Setting my visions for 2024 is all about creating a positive mindset and truly believing that I can achieve. In fact my word for the year is ‘believe’!

There is a real mix on my vision board; things I want to achieve personally, like riding more, dedicating more time to movement and stretching and eating more seasonally and ‘slowly’. And then there’s visions for the business, like finding a local, supportive network of likeminded businesses, getting Hedgewild products in to local shops and boutique hotels and going to an awards night! There’s also the vision for our new house which is mostly getting our planning permission eventually granted (that one seems like the most difficult!!) and starting work on the Hedgewild workshop.

A vision for the year to me seems more attainable that setting resolutions and i’m really looking forward to the journey to achieve them!

Bring on 2024!

Do you set New Years Resolutions or have you ditched them in favour of something else? Do let me know in the comments, I love reading them :)
